City of Lockhart Fiscal Year 2010-2011 Proposed Budget
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF LOCKHART
AND
LOCKHART ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
FISCAL YEAR 2010-2011 BUDGETS
The City Council of the City of Lockhart and the Board of Directors of the Lockhart Economic Development Corporation will hold a public hearing on the proposed budgets for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 on September 14, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, Glosserman Room, 308 W. San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas. Copies of the budgets are available for public inspection at the desk of the City Secretary, and at the Dr. Eugene Clark Library. Ordinances establishing the budget and property tax rates for the year October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011 will be considered on September 21, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. All interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend the hearing.
The City of Lockhart budget will raise more total property taxes than last year's budget by $271,988 (9.01%), and of that amount $69,515 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
